EU Ends Antidumping Duties on Ukrainian Seamless Pipe Imports
The European Commission has decided to wave goodbye to antidumping duties on seamless pipe imports from Ukraine, bringing some cheerful news to the trade front.
As of October 3, these tariffs have officially expired, and there are no plans to extend them. In the past, the duty rate for seamless pipes with a diameter of up to 406.4 mm was as high as 25.7%. Notably, Interpipe faced a duty rate of 13.8%, while Dneprovskiy Pipe Works had a duty rate of 12.3%. It's worth noting that these antidumping duties were initially introduced way back in 2006. However, the European Commission has now ushered in a new era of trade relations with Ukraine by eliminating them. This development is sure to bring smiles to many faces in the industry.
